Pradhan Manthri Awas Yojana Housing for All" Mission for urban area will be implemented during 2015-2022 and this 1.1 Mission will provide central assistance to implementing agencies through States and UTs for providing houses to all eligible families/beneficiaries by 2022. Mission will be implemented as Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) except for the component 1.2 of credit linked subsidy which will be implemented as a Central Sector Scheme. A beneficiary family will comprise husband, wife, unmarried sons and/or unmarried daughters. 1.3 The beneficiary family should not own a pucca house either in his/her name or in the name of any member of his/her family in any part of India to be eligible to receive central assistance under the mission. States/UTs, at their discretion, may decide a cut-off date on which beneficiaries need to be resident 1.4 of that urban area for being eligible to take benefits under the scheme. Mission with all its component has become effective from the date 17.06.2015 and will be 1.5 implemented upto 31.03.2022. Rajiv Awas Yojana RAJIV AWAS YOJANA (RAY) Rajiv Awas Yojana (RAY) project ,a flagship project of Ministry of Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation, launched by Hon’ble president of India on June,2010 envisages a “Slum Free India" with inclusive and equitable cities in which every citizen has access to basic civic infrastructure and social amenities and decent shelter. The project aims at tackling the issues of slums in a definitive manner. The scheme has been subsumed into PMAY scheme and 5 projects continuing as per the approved central norms .

Project LIFE – Livelihood, Inclusion, Financial Empowerment, an ambitious mission of the state government of Kerala. The mission is to provide homes to all homeless families in the state within next 5 years through a comprehensive housing scheme.
