Peer group meeting for best CDS election
- DPC hall ,Civil station ,Kakkanad
Peer group meeting held at district planing committee hall. District mission cordinator Rajeena T.M, Asistant district mission co ordinators Vijayam K, Ragesh K.R , district programme managers, cds chairpersons and other members are participated. Ten CDS presented their achievements. Kavalangad, Maradi,Pallippuram, Varapetty,Malayattoor,Manjapra, Kanjoor, Paingottoor,Vengoor,Chendhamangalam are the CDS.

Plan review meeting held at Muncipal town hall at 28/4/2018. Kudumbashree district mission co-ordinator Rejeena T.M. Other Kudumbashree staffs, CDS Chairpersons, Accountant are participated this review meeting. Next year plan presented in State roll out workshop. It was introduced by district programme managers in District PRM.

District Kalolsavam
- Layam Koothambalam
Kudumbashree District level Kalolsavam valedictory function inaugurated by M.Swaraj M.L.A. Muncipal Chairperson Mrs. Chandrika Devi presided over the meeting. Participants of the district kalolsavam are the winners from the seven thaluks. Shinkarimelam, Light Music, Poem Recitation, Group Dance, Folk dance, Drama, Skit, Cartoon, Pencil Drawing, Fancy Dress, Story Writing,College,Thiruvathira, Margamkali, Folk song, Water Color are the items of the competition. District mission co-ordinator Rejeena T.M presided over the meeting. Vengoor CDS won the everolling trophy with 38 point. Second prize won the Elamkunnapuzha CDS, Third prize won the Kochi East with 29 point.

District level Arangu -2018 Kudumbashree kalolsavam held at Thripunithura. Kalolsavam inaugurated by Play back singer Nikhil Raj. Taluk level Kalolsavam winners are participating this district level kalolsavam. Distric level Arangu 2018 held at two days and three stages like Layam koothambalam,Govt girls h.s.s, at Thripunithura. Winners of district Kalolsavam will participated state level kalolsavam at Malappuram. District mission co- ordinator Ragesh K.R presided over the meeting. Moovattupuzha-Pampakkuda block level kalolsavam Arangu-2018 inaugurated by Sri.Joyce George M.P. Sri Eldho Abraham M.L.A Presiding over the meeting. Block Panchyath president Mrs. Jossy Jolly, District panchayath member Sri.N.Arun,Valakam panchayath vice president sri. Eldho Ulahanan, Panchayath member Mrs.Deepthi Manoj , District programme manager Anoop K.M adressing the participants. The kalolsavam held at three stages and two days. Thiruvathiraj Flock dance, Pencil drawing, Water color, Poem writing,Drama etc are the competition items. Palakuzha CDS and Piravom Municipality won the First prize. Maradi CDS and Koothattukulam Municipality won the Second Prize.

Kolambi -public interaction programme by Snehitha help desk. This programme mainly give awareness about the rape assassinations faced by females and how to react in these kind of situation. Thrikkakara muncipal active chairperson Mary Kurian, Thrikkakara additional S.I K.M Raju, Civil Police Vivek, District mission staff Remya S,Anand, Eldho Joseph, Thrikkakara west CDS chairperson Mini V.P, Kudumbashree members, members of residential association are the participants of this debate.

Distribution of Sewing Machine

Sewing machines are distributed by kudumbashree ernakulam district mission for the part of developement of tribal. District mission also provided the training of sewing. Distribution inaugurated by ward member Kanthi Vellakkayyan. District programme manager Ponno kannan explained the plan. Renovation of Buds school

Vengoor Ashabhavan buds school renovated by Kudumbashree district mission at 19/3/2018. Renovation inaugurated by Vengoor panchayath president M.A Shaji. Panchayath Vicepresident Preethi Biju, District Mission Cordinator Ragesh K.R, District Programme Manager Anoop K.M, Developement standing committe chairman Sabu Cheriyan those are addressing them. 46 students are studying in this school. Leelamani Eldhose, Biji Baiju are teachers and Sister Rooby as Therapist and two helpers, driver, coock are the staff of this buds school.

Ormapusthakam Ernakulam district level writeshop held at Park residency hotel. Kudumbashree completed 20 years. For this purpose statemission would like to publish a book named Ormapusthakam. Ormapusthakam writeshop inaugurated by transgender poet Vijayarajamallika. This writeshop lead by state PRO Jayanthi Narendran. Former DMCs K.K.Ravi, Tani Thomas , Former CDS chairpersons, Enterpreneres, Gender Resource person, Community Counsilers, are participated in this programme.

World womens day celebrated at Muncipal town hall on 8/3/2018. Celebration inaugurated by Muncipal chairperson Jessy Peter. Serial artist Niya Renjith was chief guest of the celebration. District mission cordinator Ragesh K.R, Assistant District cordinators Vijayam K, Rejeena T.M and all district mission staff participated in this celebration. First CDS chairpersons honoured by district mission. They shared experience.
