Sales of more than Rs 1 crore has been recorded through the Naatuchantha (Rural Agri markets) conducted during Onam season. Special Onam markets were organized under the leadership of Kudumbashree in every local bodies. During this Onam season, directions were given to organize Naatuchantha. The aim was to conduct Nattuchantha before Onam focusing on the Onam market. As per this, 389 Nattuchantha were organized during the week before Onam. Through this, sales of Rs 1,00,15,163 was received by the farming group members and entrepreneurs.
Not only the products of the farming groups, but also the products of Kudumbashree micro entrepreneurs are also being marketed through the Nattuchantha. The Nattuchantha are being organized in the respective local bodies at the appropriate location in convergence with the local bodies and Agriculture Department. JEVA (JLG Evaluation Agents), formed to oversee the activities of the farming groups coordinate the activities of each Nattuchantha. Block Coordinators are entrusted for ensuring that Nattuchantha is organized in all CDSs. Kudumbashree's farming groups in each CDS were informed about the Nattuchantha and the products like fruits, vegetables, tubers and other products are taken to the Nattuchantha by Kudumbashree JLGs for marketing.

Kudumbashree has been organizing ‘Naatuchantha’ on a weekly basis at 450 panchayats as a way to market the agricultural products produced by Kudumbashree Farming Groups (Joint Liability Group-JLG). Nattuchanthas weren't organised at Idukki, Malappuram, Kozhikode and Kannur districts.
