The livelihood strategies under NRLM in the year 2017-18 are formulated in a way that it compliments the interventions under State Plan Fund. The livelihood strategies and activities that would be executed by Kudumbashree Mission under NRLM in this year will be based on the overarching principle of ‘Local Economic Development’. Key activities : 1) Capacity building of NHG members/entrepreneurs towards sustainable livelihoods 2) Capacitation of MECs 3) Community Enterprise Funds to CDSs 4) Development of a Women’s Product Line - product enhancement workshops 5) Market Fairs
