Covid 19 pandemic is spreading all over the world.  Kerala Government is bringing back all Non-Residential Keralite (NRK) in a phased manner from different locations of the world. The evacuation process started from May 11th 2020. Mostly these NRK’s coming from outside or inside India is from Hotspots. So, they have the higher chance for being Covid 19 positive.  Kerala Government is providing them 14 days institutionalised quarantine. The most Vulnerable group, who are prone to Covid 19 are the elderly because the co-morbidity is high among them and therefore, they are less immune. Hence if they are affected with Corona virus, they are more likely to have serious complications. In this regard it is essential to spread awareness that society should take precaution and extra care for the people who are aged above sixty. Kudumbashree is planning to give this message to all NRK’s and public to reduce the spread of this disease.
