Snehitha Sub centers
Snehitha sub-centers function in specific regions to extend Snehitha services to remote areas where women might hesitate to reach out to Snehitha due to limited transportation facilities and other obstacles. To bridge this gap, Gender Resource Centers (GRCs) have been adapted in terms of infrastructure, with Community Counselors taking a proactive role in ensuring prompt assistance to women in distress. By leading from the front, they facilitate the immediate availability of Snehitha services in sub-centers, making them more accessible to those in need. People from the nearby villages also avail this opportunity to receive Snehitha services like counseling, facilitation of legal help and other support.
Currently, Kerala boasts a network of 10 operational sub-centers, strategically distributed across 7 districts to cater to the needs of the women. The list of these sub-centers is provided below.

Snehitha Extension centers at Police Stations
Snehitha Extension centers function in convergence with police stations, fostering a comprehensive approach to providing services. These centers play a crucial role in offering counseling and facilitating women in distress to access services from various institutional agencies, such as legal service authorities, Child Welfare Committee (CWC), and non-governmental organizations (NGOs), to effectively address their concerns.
The Community Counselor in charge ensures help and support to the women visiting the police stations and guarantees that the place remains women and child friendly. They visit police stations on specified days and sit in a room allotted for them. In instances where women's issues require additional support, the Community Counselor ensures a seamless transition to Snehitha for ongoing assistance and follow-up. This integrated approach aims to provide holistic support to women facing various challenges.
As of now, there are a total of 6 operational Snehitha Extension Centers in Kerala, strategically located across 5 districts. The list of these extension centers is provided below.
