Gender resource persons are selecting from the community and giving different trainings to capacitate them. They are the cascading channels of the entire gender development programmes – to plan, co ordinate, implement and monitors. In most of the initiatives they are working as the facilitators, mentors and barefoot researchers
A set of three criteria is used to identify resource persons.
• Women who are gender sensitive;
• Women who have time and patience to guide the learning process at the grass roots
• Women with experience in social work, who support the spirit and philosophy of GSLP and Kudumbashree at large.
Resource pool is at different level of Mission and CBO and their role will change according to the programme.
