I started my career starting from 2005 and for almost 6 years I worked as chairperson. Before starting my career I could not go anywhere without my husband. Now I used to go alone to Thiruvananthapuram. I could work more courageously. I got an opportunity to work in gender corner as a team member.

My life improved after marriage. I was leading a typical life style. My first meaningful interaction with the society was via Kudumbashree. When was Kudumbashree formed in our village, I became one of its members. For us, Kudumbashree is a collective out side the barriers of our home. I found it really interesting . The members in the neighbourhood group soon became my own people.
I was born to an agricultural family in Vallikkunnam. My marriage was in 1997. Then my life was only in the kitchen. My uncle, a member in the panchayath told me about Kudumbashree. I told it to my husband, and with his consent I joined in Kudumbashree.
I was born to a Coir Workers' Family in Thrikkunnappuzha Panchayath in Alappuzha district. I was married at the age of 19, after qualifying for Plus Two in the same place itself. I’ve a daughter and a son. I came to public through SHW in 1998.
I am a resident in Thiruvandoor, a small village in Chengannoor taluk in Alappuzha district. I had no courage at all. In my childhood, I use to shiver even when my teacher asks me questions. But now I acquired confidence and courage to speak to a large community after coming to Kudumbashree.
We formed Kudumbashree in our panchayath on December 31, 1999 and started its functions. I was elected as the secretary of that group. In 2002, I was elected as the ADS president. Thereafter, I focused upon the ward's development and to increase the number of groups.
I was born in Kannur district and I completed my education there itself. I was a non-public speaker. But in Kannur, all had been together rather bothering caste and religion. After my marriage I was shifted to Nedumudi, the situation here in my home troubled me very much.
I was born into Mechilakkad, Arukutty village in Alappuzha district and was married at my 21st age. I came to Kudumbashree in 2002. I had the opportunity to participate in the Kudumbashree Anniversary held in 2003-04. Then I got the opportunity to work as the neighbourhood secretary, ADS Secretary, CDS member leading to the post of The CDS Chairperson.
