I was born to a middle-class farming family in a small village called Chunakkara, I grew up witnessing the difficulties in my father’s life. My marriage with Sreekumar was in my 22 years of age. After marriage, I got the opportunity to live in different states outside Kerala and I understood different ways of life.
I am residing at Muthalappara in the 14 th Muliyar gramapanchayath as I was born and brought up in an orthodox muslim family at palakkad, I have many restrictions and limitations. I got married in early age and the experience in my husband home is not so good. I could not proceed my education after my marriage it is a pain to me till now.
I am Sujatha, assumed charge as a CDS chairperson of Ajanur from 2012. I was only a housewife and involvement in Kudumbashree made remarkable changes in my life. It helps me to stand and speak infront of gone and I also acquire the capacity to respond any situation. Now I am capable to tackle any challengers that come across on my way of life. All these happen only because of the complete involvement in Kudumbashree.
I am taking the charge of kudumbashree CDS chairperson 2012. I was an average house wife when I am joining. All this achievement I received only true the support of Kudumbashree and my family. Situation in my family not allowed me study more but once the part of Kudumbashree that incompleteness has gone.
If anybody recognizing me now, that is only by joining Kudumbashree and I am very proud of that. When I was studying I was active in Campus politics. But in the village Kalluravi, even speaking loudly is forbidden to girls.Then after my studies,I got married, I became housewife, settled with husband and kids.I like to work for public and it was always in my mind. At this time Kudumbashree became very active in my village and I didn’t have clear idea about Kudumbashree.
I am from Madhur, a blend of Kannada and Thulu languages. I was typical village girl, and lam joining in Madhur ‘Thejasi’ Kudumbashree in 2002. In 2002 the courage and confidence its am showing now I got from Kudumbashree. And I realized that we are living not only for our family but others to we can do a lot of things to the society through the social organization like Kudumbashree.
