'Innossence 2017' Buds fest
- Town Hall Annex, Palakkad
On 17/12/2017 Palakkad Town hall Annex witnessed the blessfull event Innossence 2017. All children have equal rights to develop and participate in public events. Normal school children have school level cultural events and youth festivals to portray their abilitites, In this background Kudumbashree thought about a cultural fest for Differently abled children studying in Buds schools and Buds rehabilitation centres. Kudumbashree district mission organized Innossence 2017 a cultural fest for children of Buds schools and members of Buds rehabilitation centres. The event was innaugurated by Palakkad district panchayat wise president Sri. T.K. Narayanadas. Asst. Collector Sri. Sreedhar Chamakkuri, Palakkad Kudmbashree district mission Coordinator P. Saidalavi, Mathur Panchayat president Sri. Pushpadas, Cultural experts Janardanan pudussery and Ravi Thaikkaud also shared the stage. All children participated in different competitions like Single dance, goup dance, fancy dress, poetry, Painting, pencil drawing, action song. The event was concluded by Price distribution by Kudumbashree governing board member smt. Risha Premkumar.

THUDI TRIBAL FEST
- Municipal Town Hall-annex ,Palakkad
The District tribal fest named "THUDI" held on 24.11.2017 at Municiapl town hall Annex building.The event was inaugurated by Honourable MLA Sri K V Vijayadas in the presence of Kudumbashree District Mission Coordinator Mr.P Saithalavi , State mission manager-Tribal Mr.Prabhakaran and other dignatories.The event witnessed participation of 15 tribal groups .The major attractions of the programme were ethnic food fest,handicraft-non timber forest products sales and cultural fest.The event was successful interms of participation ,publicity and feedback from people.

ST ANIMATORS -PROMOTERS TRAINING

A three day residential training for newly inducted ST Promoters and ST Animators was conducted from November 19 th to 21 st at START Dhoni -Palakkad.The objective of the programme was to create an awareness on the core activities of Kudumbashree mission among ST Promotersa and to ensure their support in field level activities.

A joint programme of Sustainable development Project for Scheduled tribes and MKSP was organized at Vakkode ST Colony of Karimba Panchayath in Palakkad district.The vision behind the programme is livelihood enhancement through agriculture.Grow bags and Vegetable seedlings were distributed among three Joint Liability Group members of the colony.The programme was inaugurated by President of LSGI Karimba Ms.P K Jayashree in the presence of Kudumbashree CDS members ,District mission representatives and colony members.

NAIPUNYAM - Life Skill training for ST Adolescents
- GLP School ,Chuliarmeddu ,Miuthalamada
Addressing the special needs of tribal adolescents a life skill training programme "Naipunyam" is designed by Kudumbashree Palakkad for tribal adolescents.Adolescence being the vital stage of growth and development the concept stands relevant.The official begining of the programme held at Govt.L P School at Chuliarmeddu of Muthalamada Panchayath in Palakkad district.Three tribal adolescent clubs were formed during the programme.Some key issues and concerns observed in tribal adolescents such as forming self awareness,managing emotions,strengthening social skills will be addressed through the programme.
