Neetham 2018 neethikayoru kottayima district campaign was held on March 8th Womens day. Womans day celebration,Awarness of kidney welfare seminar and trophy for the winners of prathidwani talkshow were distributed on the same day. As part of world kidney day , awarness about kidney diseases and free checkup were granted for one year. Neetham report was submitted by the District program manager. And made discussion on the report.

Formation of Urban service team

District kudumbashree mission have started a new initiative in micro enterprises, Urban Service team. The objective is to provide various services to the people residing in Urban local bodies. The persons having skills in vraious sectors will be brought under a single umbrella, where their serivices can be availed through a phone call.

kudumbashree district Mission is organising a Film Festival for Balasabha Chidren on 20th January 2018 at Kalabavan theater Vazhuthacaud. the program aims to familiarize World Cinema to our Children. And it provides a great oppurtunity for them to interact with Directors and Actors. National Awrad Winner Sidhartha Siva, and Director Miss Nayana Sooryan will participate in the Function. There is a visit to Chinthranjali Studio on the Second day.

The Kudumbasree district mission is to introduce the unique arts of the tribal community in the district,traditional diversity and taste of the adjacent food. Natives also arranged the exhibition of traditional equipment,food supplies etc.

Formation of Jeeva Raksha Sannada Raktha Dana Sena and District level Inauguration of Raktha Dana Camp

As part of the Woman Empowerment self education program Kudumbashree District Mission organised a Blood donation Camp "Jeeva Raksha Sannada Raktha Dana Sena". The All Kerala BLood Donors Society which distribuite blood to blood banks in district government hospitals give techinal support for the formation of Jeeva Raksha Sannada Raktha Dana Sena. The Woman community is developed to increase the Health sector and to promote the social interference of woman in society.The District Level Inaguration of Blood Donation Camp was Inauguarted by MlLA Adv. D.K Murali.Kudumbashree District Mission co ordinator Dr. K.R Shaiju give the Welcome Speech. All Kerala BLood Donors Society district President Dr. Koshi.M.Joerge was the Chief Orater. Anad Panchayath Representatives , All Kerala BLood Donors Society General Secratary Ratheesh Sahadevan, Assistant District Mission Cordinator Shani Nijam were part of the function.

Training programme on Rural Entrepreneurship through value added agriculture

ICAR- CTCRI in association with Kudumbashree district mission, Trivandrum have organized 8 off campus and 10 in campus training cum exhibition programmes on Value added products and Enterpreneurship development in tuber crops. This event is planned to sensitize young entrepreneurs/ farmers/ self help group with the different avenues in different sectors.

Start up Village Enterpreneurship Program

SVEP is a project to earn money by finding out the scope of enterprises and to find out the women and their family members those intrested in such enterprises. This project is already started in two districts of kerala, Pathanamthitta and Ernakulam. Vamanapuram Block is selected from Thiruvananthapuram District. it includes Manikal,Nellanad, Pullambara, Kallara, Pangod, Peringamala, Nandiyod Grama Panchayths. The detailed Project Report is given to the Central Government. The project aims to start 2000 enterprises within 4 years. And 6 crore Rs is available for the Project.
