One day Training camp- "Namukum Vijayikalavam"
- Joseph Mundassery Hall, Pattam
Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana organised one day training camp for rural area women and men. The program was inagurated by Vattiyurkav MLA K.Muraleedaran." This type of training is very useful for students,so they must utilise it well " said K.Muraleedaran. This program is organized to increase the confidence level of students and to find out their ability within themself. Kudumbashree District Mission ADMC Jyothi.K.Nair gave the Welcome Speech. Kudumbashree Director Nisha.S presided the function. DDU-GKY chief Operating Officer Dr. Praveen.C.S, DDU-GKY State Program Manager Liyopole gave the felicitation. Kudumbashree District Mission District Program Manager Rohini A.M gave the Vote of Thanks.

Children's library Inaugurated
- Vembayam Panchayath
"Sreenivasa Ramanujan" balasabha library inaguarated in karakkod ward of Vembayam Grama Panchayath. Thiruvananthapuram district Panchayath President V.K Madhu Inaguarated the Function. Ward member P.Jayachandran gave the Welcome Speech. Educational and Health standing Committe Chairman Advocate Thekada Anilkumar was the presidential address. Thiruvanathapuram Assistant DIstrict Mission officers Siyad.S and Shani Mol. A gave the Felicitation.
Sreenivasa Ramanujan is the First library for Children in Thiruvananthapuram District.Children collected the books through "Pusthaka Yathra" throught out the District. Now they have a collection of 542 books. Balasabha President V.Viji submitted the Report. Secratary S.kailas gave the Vote of Thanks. Many Perfomance of Children held after the Function.

T20 FoodFest
- Greenfield Stadium
Conducted food fest in Greenfield stadium.Cafe Kudumbashree stalls set up at Greenfield Stadium during T20 Cricket Match on 7 November 2017 won hearts. 40 counters were opened by Kudumbashree women at the venue under the leadership of 25 units from Trivandrum and other districts. 16 units were from Trivandrum and the rest from the districts like Kannur, Ernakulam, Kottayam, Alappuzha and kottayam. Cuisines from Travancore, Kochi and Malabar were served.The cafe Kudumbashree units offered snacks, fresh juice and steamed snacks. The food was cooked under the leadership of 150 women at the central kitchens set up at Sreekaryam and Kazhakoottam. The cuisines offered at the stalls were of high demand and it added more energy to the Cricket lovers

kuttichal Panchayath Oorulsavam

Kudumbashree District Mission, Scheduled Tribal Sustainable development project conducted an Oorulsavam in Mukkuvathivayal,Kuttichal Grama Panchayth. Mukkuvathivayal is 14km away from kottoor in wild forest. Mukkuvathivayal is a settelment situated at the vale of Agasthyamala. Majority of the member of 27 settlments attended the Oorulsavam. Grama Panchayath President J.Manikandan inagurated the Function. Settlement Gaffer Villan kani give the presidential address. There was great involvement of Ward member V. Ramesh.
Standing Committe Chairperson Nabeesath, Block Member Mini, Cds chairperson Prabha, ICDS employee Shahanas, District Mission members, Animators, Promoters participated in the Function. There was many programs by the Ooru resident's." The soul of our nation exist in woman, they must be stregenthend, they dosent need to suffer" said the Panchayath President.

Anathapuri fest

The Anathapuri fest organized by Malayala Manorama is highlighted with the café kudumbhashree food court organized by district kudumbashree mission Thiruvananthapuram. The fest is in progress from November 22nd to December 4th. Anathapuri fest is one of the best and attractive fest hosted in the state. Kudumbashrre café has given the opportunity to taste the variety of Malabar food for the people of Trivandrum. Thiruvanthapuram Sub collector Divya Iyer inaugurated the food court. Five product stalls are also available except the food court.
This is exactly the brand building of Cafe Kudumbashree. They aim two things, that to give hospitality to the public and to introduce healthy food habits for the public. This is a great opportunity for livelihood development. They brought variety of food around Kerala to Thiruvananthapuram. This aims the food promotion from Kasargod district to Thiruvananthapuram district. They made the foods from hill area to coastal area. They introduced the variety of tastes for the residents of Thiruvananthapuram. Café kudumbashree took initiative for 1400 enterprises presently. Through this initiative project of Café kudumbashree they aware the public about the diversity of food.
“Café kudumbashree is one of the best initiatives of Kudumbashree. The stalls should be improvised by narrating stories and history of the tastes from other districts may enrich the minds of people. The food court is very attractive and tasty” proposed by the Sub collector Divya Iyer.
