As a part of the municipal development plan, two different projects has been inaugurated by Shri. A.C Moideen,  Hon. Minister for Local Self Government. The welcome speech has been given by Smt Seetha Raveendran, Kunnamkulam Municipal Chairperson and Kunnamkulam Vice-Chairman Shri P.M Suresh presided the programme. Distribution of laptops, chairs, tables and other study materials to the students of backward classes and Distribution of chenda , elathalam to the Polivu Singari Melam Kudumbashree Unit. SC Development Officer Shri P.M Biju presented the report. Standing Committee Chairpersons Smt Geetha Sasi, Sri K.K Murali, Smt Suma Gangadharan, Smt Misha Sebastian Councilors Shri Shaji Alikkal & Shri K.A Aziz. • Town Hall, Kunnamkulam Municipality

Kunnamkulam Municipality conducted NULM Nagarasree Utsavam on 14-02-2019. As a part of Nagarasree Utsavam municipality conducted Rally including NULM women entrepreneurs, Kudumbasree NHG members, CDS members, councillors etc participated in the rally. Kunnamkulam Municipal Chairperson Smt Seetha Raveendran inaugurated Nagarasree Utsavam Rally. The Welcome speech has been given by the NULM City Project Officer Sri. Lakshmanan K.S. Kunnamkulam Municipal Chairperson Smt Seetha Raveendran inaugurated the Nagarasree Utsavam programme at Kunnamkulam Town Hall .Vice chairperson presided the programme.

Municipal Chairperson Smt Seetha Raveendran distributed the awards for the Best NULM Skill Training Providers to TDLCC – Thrissur District Labour Contract Co-operative Society for training the NULM construction unit and Synchroserve Global Solutions for providing training successfully to the candidates and providing more than 50% of placement to the candidates in different organizations. Also Kerala Gramin Bank has awarded as the Best Bank award for providing 21 NULM SEP loans to the beneficiaries and the award has been given by the Municipal Chairperson Smt Seetha Raveendran to Asst. Manager, Kerala Gramin Bank. Municipal Secretary Sri K.K Manoj handed over EST&P TA & PPS cheque of Rs 1,36,000/- to the candidates who successfully completed the training of various EST&P courses. Municipal Vice Chairman handed over the EST&P certificates to the beneficiaries who successfully completed the different NULM courses. Ward councillors distributed the EDP certificates to the participants who completed the EDP programme successfully.

NULM City Mission Manager Smt Simina M presented the NULM Report with goals & achievements in various NULM components and Receipts & Expenditures for the FY 2018-19. Vote of thanks has been given by the CDS Chairpersons of CDS 1 & CDS 2.

Around 100 Kudumbasree NHG members, SEP Beneficiaries, EST&P Candidates, Skill Training Providers, Bank Officials participated in the function.

SEP Interest Subsidy  for 14 SEP Individual Entreprises and 2 SEP Group Entreprises of Rs. 26,186 has been distributed on 29/12/2018 at Conference Hall, Kunnamkulam Municipality

• Vaduthala, Kunnamkulam

Kunnamkulam Municipal Vice Chairman Shri. P.M Suresh laid the Door Frame for Kani Thulasi's House, The Kunnamkulam NULM Construction Unit Team is assigned for building the house for Kani Thulasi. The construction of the house is started which costs 4,00,000/- by including the beneficiary in the PMAY-LIFE scheme. Kunnamkulam Municipal Vice-Chairman Shri. P.M Suresh, Municipal Secretary Shri. Cafe Kudumbashree will be ready to pour out taste in flower show which conducts by agri-horti culture society on Thekkinkad Maithanam towards january 18 to january 27

• District Co-Op.Bank Hall, Kuruppam Road

State Level Inauguration on Gender Equality and Justice is scheduled to organize on 14-01-2019 ( Monday ) at Districtb Co-Op.Bank Hall, Kuruppam Road. The programme will be preside over by Smt. Mary Thomas, District Panchayat President, Thrissur and inaugurate by Hon. Minister A C Moideen.

Linkage Interest Subsidy  for 283 NHGs of Rs. 10,27,031 has been distributed on 06/12/2018 at Kunnamkulam Municipality.

A special nhg meeting has been conducted on 03/12/2018 at Conference Hall, Kunnamkulam Municipality. All the NHG presidents and secretaries from 37 ADS participated in the meeting. Also municipal secretary Shri. K.K Manoj participated in the meeting and explained the significance of self employment programme in productive sector, importance of kudumbasree school training etc. City Project Officer Shri Lakshmanan , CDS chairpersons of CDS 1 & CDS 2 , CDS accountants, Member secretary & NULM team also participated in the meeting.

The SEP taskforce meeting was held on 03/12/2018 at Conference Hall, Kunnamkulam Municipality. 24 SEP-I applications and 2 SEP-G applications has been approved by the taskforce committee. Two new intiatives - Day Care Unit and House Keeping Unit has been included and approved in the taskforce committee.

• Kunnamkulam Municipality

Kudumbasree Gender Resource Centre has started providing counselling services to women & chidlren at Kunnamkulam Municipality. The main aim of the center is to provide help and support to those women and children who are in distress and provide the required services for their complaints, issues and concerns. The Kudumbasree Gender Resource Centre will be opened on wednesdays & thursdays in every week. The community counselor Smt. Anitha from kudumbasree district mission is in-charge of the centre who collects complaints , issues & concerns and provide counseling services to the women & children. Kunnamkulam Municipal Secretary Shri K.K Manoj & NULM City Mission Manager Smt Simina M took the initiative to start the Kudumbasree Gender Resource Centre at Kunnamkulam Municipality.  The Kudumbasree Gender Resource Centre was inaugurated by Kunnamkulam Municipal Chairperson Smt. Seetha Raveendran, Vice Chairman Shri P.M Suresh,  Standing Committee Chairpersons , Municipal Secretary Shri K.K Manoj,  NULM City Project Officer Shri. Lakshmanan K.S, Member Secretary Smt. Asiya C.M, CDS 1 & CDS 2 Chairpersons , CDS Accountants and NULM Team attended the function.

• Kunnamkulam Municipality

Kudumbasree GST Consulting Centre has started providing services at Kunnamkulam Municipality. Kudumbasree GST Consulting Centre is the first GST Consulting Centre which started in kerala under the leadership of kudumbasree. The Kudumbasree GST Consulting Centre provide services which includes GST Registration, E-Filing etc. The kudumbasree NHG member Smt. Premalatha Satheeshan is the centre in-charge. Kunnamkulam Municipal Secretary Shri K.K Manoj & NULM City Mission Manager Smt Simina M took the initiative to start the Kudumbasree GST Consulting Centre at Kunnamkulam MunicipalityThe Kudumbasree GST Consulting Centre was inaugurated by Kunnamkulam Municipal Chairperson Smt. Seetha Raveendran, Vice Chairman Shri P.M Suresh,  Standing Committee Chairpersons , Municipal Secretary Shri K.K Manoj,  NULM City Project Officer Shri. Lakshmanan K.S, Member Secretary Smt. The Monthly Market has been started on 28/11/2018 at Kunnamkulam Bus Stand. The monthly market has been inauguarated by Kunnamkulam Vice Chairman Shri. P.M Suresh. The first sale of products has been inaugurated by Kunnamkulam Vice Chairman Shri. P.M Suresh to the Kunnamkulam Municipal Secretary Shri. K.K Manoj. Standing Committee Chairpersons,  Ward Councilors, NULM City Project Officer Shri. Lakshmanan K.S, Member Secretary Smt. Asiya C.M, CDS 1 Chairperson Smt. • Town Hall, Kunnamkulam Municipality

The kudumbasree school 2nd stage - RP training has been started on 28/11/2018. The training will end on 29/11/2018. More than 100 Resource Persons attending the training. Fortuna Training Group is giving the training to the Resource Persons. The training has been conducted at Town Hall, Kunnamkulam.

• NULM Office, Kunnamkulam Municipality

ESTP - GDA Certificate has been distributed to the candidates who have successfully completed the EST&P Course - General Duty Assistant. The certificate distribution has been given by the Standing Committee Chairpersons of Kunnamkulam Municipality and NULM Team attended the function
