Paravur town is situated at 8045" North latitude and 7604" East longitude by the shore of Arabian Sea. The boundaries of this town are Mayyanad and chathannoor Panchayath on the north, Poothakulam Panchayath on the east, Edava Panchayath of Thiruvananthapuram district in the south and Arabian Sea in the west.
