Green Carpets- Mobile Garden Installation Units
Gardens contribute significantly to the well being and quality of life. Urbanisation and civilization has directly aggravated the thirst for verdancy. Realizing the possibility of entrepreneurial intervention in this field and also lack of renowned and well established such enterprises, this concept aims at formation of gardening units which are mobile and catering to all needs in this sector.
Well trained women groups consisting 4- 10 members will be created in all district. They will be given high end training on the various aspects of gardening, landscaping and new trends in the field. The group will be equipped to form various types of garden as per customer and institutional preference. Primary focus will be given to portable kitchen and ornamental garden units for apartments. In later phase landscaping, vertical gardens, garden maintaining and repotting services, topiary services, indoor gardening, artificial gardening etc will be focused.
Animal Birth Control (ABC)
One of the social problems faced by Kerala in recent years is street dog menace. Since killing of street dogs is banned as per various acts and judgement, the strategy adopted by government is to intensify Animal Birth Control program (ABC).

Plan focus on livelihood generation in livestock sector for ensuring economic empowerment in Kudumbashree families. Assistance for 5000 units and support for around 10000 families is targeting in this financial year through various schemes.

Fallow-less village programme
To bring the fallow unproductive lands into cultivable lands for enhancing overall agricultural production and productivity in the state.Fallow lands under each CDs will be mapped and cultivated in Convergence with GPs, MNREGS and Agri Dept. Paddy lands would be given thrust under this programme.
MKSP - Collective Farming
Mahila Kisan Sashakthikaran Pariyojana (MKSP) a sub component of the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) aims to promote women group farming. Presently Kudumbashree has 60000 women farming groups to cultivate 55000 Ha of land in the State.
Community Interest Group (CIG)
In order to support the income generation activity of the NHG members, a new scheme for the members undertaking livestock sector is proposed. Through this intervention credit support and other supply chain support would be created for the members undertaking dairy husbandry activity. NHG members undertaking cow rearing for the last 2 years are eligible to be part of the CIG . Each of the CIG will have minimum 5 member whom are dairy farmers . Each of the CIG after verification could submit request for CIF to the CDS. Rs 1 lakh livelihood revolving fund to be provided by CDS @4% interest rate to 3 cow rearing groups in the selected CDS.

Kudumbashree to Address Street Dog Menace - ABCD Management Units
Kudumbashree has completed first phase of training of its 389 number of members in 68 Units to perform as Animal Birth Control Designated Management units to aid the Stray Control projects implemented by Jilla Pancahyaths, Municipalities and Muncipal Corporations.As per GO no.3247/2016/LSGD dated 30/11/2016, these trained and certified Kudumbashree members will function as community level facilitators for catching stray dogs,transportation to the designated ABC centres of LSGIs for the ABC procedure as per protocols ,pre and post operative care of dogs,and safe release of above dogs back as per rules,for a service fee of Rs.1000 per dog payable to them from the fund allocated by LSGIs for the project.
