The STEPS - Construction unit has been started at Kunnamkulam and the training is given by Thrissur District Labour Contract Co- Operative Society. The training has been started on 01/10/2018 and 7 NHG members from different NHGs were participating in the training. A loan amount of 2,00,000 has been availed from Kerala Gramin Bank. 

Kunnamkulam Municipal Chairperson Smt. Seetha Raveendran laid the foundation stone for Kani Thulasi's House and  Kunnamkulam Municipal Vice Chairman Shri. P.M Suresh laid the Door Frame for Kani Thulasi's House, The Kunnamkulam NULM Construction Unit Team is assigned for building the house for Kani Thulasi. The construction is carried out by the NULM construction unit team including 8 women NHG members under the supervision of Thrissur District Labour Contract Co- Operative Society. The construction of the house is started which costs 4,00,000/- by including the beneficiary in the PMAY-LIFE scheme

Two Day Care Units has been started at Kunnamkulam as a new NULM Initiative, Kidz World Day Care started on 05/07/2018 and Amal Day Care started on 18/01/2019 where both the units are formed under the NULM - SEP-I Scheme.  Kidz World Day care availed a loan amount of 1,00,000 and Amal Day Care availed a loan amount of 1,90,000. Both the loans were availed from Kerala Gramin Bank. Both the units are running successfully with an average income of 5000 per month. Ms Shinimol and Ms Nisha were the entrepreneurs of the day care units Kidz World Day Care and Amal Day Care who were NHG members.

Bulls International Mutli Gym  &  Fitness Centre has been started at Kunnamkulam as a new NULM Initiative, Bulls International Mutli Gym  &  Fitness Centre started on 08/11/2018 . The unit is formed under the NULM - SEP-I Scheme.  Bulls International Mutli Gym  &  Fitness Centre availed a loan amount of 1,90,000  from Kerala Gramin Bank. The unit is running successfully with an average income of 7500 per month. Mr Jijumon is the entrepreneur of the unit
