kannur gender team conducted one day workshpo on Vulnerability mapping at kannur district panchayath hall on 24-08-2017. 10 grampanchayaths are selected for the vulnerability maping programme in kannur district. Elected grampanchayath presidents, members, CDS chairpersons, gender RP's are participated in the one day workshop. District mission coordinator Sri. Dr. M Surjith inaugurated the function and ADMC Sri. Bindhu P G given presidential adress, Gender district programme manager Mr. Naile K N given welcome speach and took training sessions on vulnerability mapping.

The Kannur Corparation distribiuted 50 lakh rupees as Revolving fund to 235 SHGs and 53 ADS of Corporation CDS under NULM.Hon.Mayor Kumari.E.P. Latha inugurated the function and talked about the advantages and progress of NULM in the Corpoartion area.corporation Welfare standing Chairman Sri.Rajan Vellora presided the function and Deputy Mayor Sri.P.K.Ragesh distributed the Snehanidhi cash cheque to the selected beneficiaries.Public work Standing Committee Chairman Sri.T.O.Mohanan, Councillors Sri.Balakrishnan Master, Premi, Rethi,Sajith,CDS Chairpersons and NULM team members were attended the RF distribution programme.

Kannur Municipal corporation conducted the Night survey on July 19,20 for identifying the homeless living in the street and public places.The survey team headed by Honourable Municipal Chairman and the team consists of Councillors, City project Officer, Health section team, Kudumbashree Member Secretary, NULM Manager , Community Organiser, Police officials and Media .The team identified 142 urban homeless living in the streets, public places, railway and bus stations.The survey was a great experience to NULM
