NULM Night Survey for identifying homeless in street.
- Kuthuparamba Municipal areas.
Kuthuaparamba Municipality conducted the Night survey for identifying the homeless living in the street. The survey team headed by Honourable Municipal Chairman Sri.P.K.Sukumaran and the team consists of Councillors, Secretary, City project Officer, Health section team, Kudumbashree Member Secretary, NULM Manager, Police officials, Auto drivers and Media .The team identified 6 urban homeless living in the streets and public places.

NULM module 1 and 2 training

Anthur Municipal CDS reosurce organisation conducted the first batch Module 1 and 2 training for newly formed SHGs under NULM on July 20,21 at AKG memorial hall Bakkalam. Municipal Chairperson Smt.Syamala Teacher inaugurated the training and faculties of Mithra team and NULM Manager took the sessions .Members from 11 SHGs are attended the training.

NULM SUH- Location Visit and Focus group meeting.
- Different sites and Mayor's Chamber.
On July 07th a special team including Hon.Mayor, Dy Mayor, AE,Councillor,Member Secretary, SMMU Manager and CMMU team have conducted location visit for identifying the spot for constructing Shelter homes. The team selected three locations for constructing She lodge,Old age home and shelter for urban homeless.After the visit, Focus group discussion conducted at Mayor's Chamber as part of night survey.

Home Shop Owners training
- Science Park, Kannur
Six day training programme for newly selected Home shop owners in kannur corporation block will start on 31.07.17. The training module includes 3 day theory session and 2 day field activities. A feed back session by the trainees also included in the last day of the training. 40 members from kannur corporation block will be the participants. District kudumbashree mission, Home shop management team and the faculties from RUDSETI will lead the sessions. Experience sharing of existing Home shop owners also will be conducted.

ഗ്രാമീണ മേഖലയിലെ തൊഴിൽ രഹിതരായ യുവതീ യുവാക്കൾക്കായി കേന്ദ്ര സർക്കാർ കുടുംബശ്രീ വഴി നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്ന ദീൻ ദയാൽ ഉപാധ്യായ ഗ്രാമീണ കൗശല്യയോജന സൗജന്യ തൊഴിൽ പരിശീലന പദ്ധതിയുടെ പഞ്ചായത്തുതല ബോധവത്കരണ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗമായി പഞ്ചായത്തു ഭരണ സമിതി അംഗങ്ങൾക്കും എ ഡി എസ്, സി ഡി എസ് അംഗങ്ങൾക്കും പദ്ധതി ബോധവത്കരണ ക്ലാസ് നടത്തി. കുടുംബശ്രീ ബ്ലോക്ക് കോർഡിനേറ്റർമാരുടെയും പദ്ധതി നിർവഹണ ഏജൻസി പ്രധിനിധികളുടെയും നേതൃത്വത്തിലാണ് ക്ലാസ് നടത്തിയത് .

തുടർന്ന് കൂത്തുപറമ്പ കേന്ദ്രമായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന സിങ്ക്രോ സെർവ് ഗ്ലോബൽ സൊല്യൂഷൻസ് പ്രൈവറ്റ് ലിമിറ്റഡ് എന്ന സ്ഥാപനത്തിനായും തലശ്ശേരി കേന്ദ്രമായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന സെന്റം വർക്ക് സ്കിൽസ് എന്ന സ്ഥാപനത്തിനായും മോബിലൈസഷൻ നടത്തി

ABC - District level Training
- Kudumbashree District Mission office Hall, Kannur
It is a three day training programme for 30 beneficiaries of ABC project. Animal husbandry Department, District Medical Office and Kudumbashree will lead the sessions. A field visit also included in the training for the last day. Training programme aims to train and form 5-8 dog catching units under Kudumbashree District Mission.

Coir defibering Unit - Inauguration
- Block Panchayath Mini Industrial Estate, Ammanappara, Kannur
Kudumbashree's first fully mechanised Coir defibering unit started functioning in Pariyaram, Grama panchayath, Kannur. The Hon. Finance Minister Dr. Thomas Issac inaugurated the function presided by Thaliparamba MLA sri. James Mathew. District Panchayath President sri. K.V Sumesh inaugurated Coir defibering unit. Block Panchayath President smt. T. Latha distributed uniforms to the members. Project implemented with the help of Coir Development department and Pariyaram Grama panchayath.
